Refund Policy
Digital files cannot be sent back, so this policy says plainly when we refund anyway. If something is wrong with a planner, we would rather fix it or refund it than have you stuck with it.
Last updated 7 September 2026. Questions about anything here go to hello@printmagicstudiox.com.
How to ask
Email hello@printmagicstudiox.com with your order number and what went wrong. We answer within two working days. If you bought on Etsy, message the shop through Etsy so the order and the refund stay together.
When we refund
- The file will not download, or the download is broken or incomplete, and we cannot fix it for you.
- The planner is faulty: pages missing, links dead, a year built wrong, or not what the listing described.
- You were charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy.
- You bought the wrong item by mistake and have not downloaded it yet. Tell us within 14 days.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from, usually within five working days of us agreeing to it. You keep nothing you were refunded for: the licence to use that file ends.
When we usually do not
- You changed your mind after downloading a working file.
- Your device or app cannot open PDFs, or you bought it for an app it never claimed to support.
- You wanted a different layout, colour or year, and the listing said what it was.
- You bought resell rights and then decided not to sell anything.
Before refusing, we will always offer to help you get the file working, or to rebuild it with different choices at no cost.
Your rights come first
Nothing here takes away the guarantees you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which apply to digital products too: they must be fit for purpose, match their description, and be of acceptable quality. If a planner fails those, you are entitled to a remedy whatever this page says.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. Because a planner is delivered digitally and straight away, you are asked at checkout to agree that delivery starts immediately, and that agreement ends the 14 day cancellation right once the download has begun. If you have not downloaded, the right still stands and we will refund you.
Buyers in Australia keep their rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and buyers elsewhere keep whatever their local consumer law gives them.
Bought on Etsy
Etsy runs its own case system and its own policy for digital items. Use it if you prefer; it does not stop you writing to us, and we will not argue about which door you came through.
